To My Unborn Child,
I’m writing you this letter on my 20th birthday.
Firstly, I want to let you know that I love you. I also want you to know that nothing in life is given except for life itself. Anything that you want, or need you have to earn. Entitlement is a disease, a disease that will leave you without the things you want because you feel as if you deserve them. Don’t get me wrong, earning the things that you want or need in life wont be easy, but I’ll make sure you’re prepared.
You see the thing that they don’t tell you about life is that life is a continuous learning process. Your failures are the things that will make you great. I want you to always believe in yourself and think positive. If you believe in yourself then there’s nothing that anyone, including me, can do to hold you down. Positive thinking is the key to enjoying life. Life isn’t easy, learning never is, but the more you believe in yourself the more you’ll achieve
Never let anyone tell you what you can’t do. People say things are impossible because THEY can’t do it, you can do ANYTHING. Sometimes, you’ll feel like they are right and you’ll want to give up, but it’s a trap. That’s the trap that most people become victim to, the trap of self doubt. Self doubt usually is inspired by an outside source telling you that you’re not good enough or that you’re crazy for pursuing your dreams. Just always remember, the people who call you crazy for believing in your self are the people who were crazy enough to NOT believe in themselves.
Lastly, I just want to let you know that I’m not perfect. I have my flaws, and I won’t always be the easiest person to get a long with, but I love you. And love is what will keep us strong, regardless the situation we always will have love. Just be yourself and don’t be afraid to let the world know your Scattered Thoughts.
P.S. We are creatives just seeking the platform to be able to share our creativity. All we ever wanted was opportunity.
